Push To Halve Aust-Hong Kong Quarantine Times
Meanwhile The South China Morning Post also reported a “senior officer” from the Australian Quarantine & Inspection Service has been in Hong Kong to “inspect & discuss” the quarantine situation. Currently, horses travelling from Hong Kong to Australia are required to spend 2 months in quarantine, but officials hope to have that requirement halved & HK Jockey Club executive director of racing Bill Nader commented: “Hopefully we are now in a position to accomplish our goals as far as getting Black Caviar & other top Australian horses, like Hay List, for December.”
