Shuttler Tale Of The Cat (Storm Cat-Yarn, by Mr Prospector) added a group success when favoured Patinack Farm 5YO entire Trusting (Tale Of The Cat-Legible, by Zabeel) scored a 3.75-lengths victory in the $200,000 weight-for-age Gr2 Hill Stakes (2000m) at Rosehill. Trusting (ridden by visiting Brazilian jockey Joao Moreira for trainer John Thompson) defeated 7YO gelding Hawk Island (Hawk Wing-Crimphill, by Sadler's Wells) & 5YO gelding Tullamore (Savabeel-Trocair, by Flying Spur). Trusting (a NZ$300,000 yearling at the 2008 NZB Premier Sale at Karaka) now has 4 wins (also including last start’s Gr2 Chelmsford Stakes over 1600m at Warwick Farm on September 3, plus 2009’s Gr2 Warwick Stakes over 1400m at Randwick) & 6 placings (including 2010’s Gr1 Kingston Town Classic over 1800m at Ascot, Gr1 Epsom Handicap over 1600m at Randwick, Gr1 George Main Stakes over 1600m at Randwick & Listed Concorde Stakes over 1100m at Rosehill, plus 2009’s Gr1 Golden Rose over 1400m at Rosehill & Gr3 Caulfield Guineas Prelude over 1400m at Caulfield) from 20 starts for $894,100 earnings.
