6 Aust-Bred Winners In Malaysia

In Malaysia, 6 Australia-bred gallopers scored at Penang:

  • 9YO gelding Courageous General (Pricelessly-Inflight Smile) won over 1400m for trainer L.N.Danis. Courageous General was a $20,000 yearling at the 2004 Magic Millions Perth Premier Sale.
  • 4YO mare Kim Star (Theatre-Kim Paula, by Bletchley Park) won over 1200m for trainer Mung Wee.
  • 6YO gelding Daytona (King Of Prussia-Amy's Blushing, by Blushing Scribe) won over 1400m for trainer Thomas Gillespie.
  • 9YO gelding Speed Happy (Greenlander-Bright Hostess, by What A Guest) won over 1400m for trainer Jerome Tan. Speed Happy was a $12,500 yearling consigned by Oaklands Stud at the 2004 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale & subsequently passed-in for $32,500 at the 2004 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Blazing Warrior (Cape Cross-Miss Bluebonnet, by Bluebird) won over 1400m for trainer John McGillivray. Blazing Warrior was a $12,500 yearling consigned by Almavale Bloodstock at the 2008 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney & subsequently a $23,000 2YO consigned by Cayley Thoroughbreds at the 2008 Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Three Thoughts (Brocco-Express That Smile, by Success Express) won over 1200m for trainer Yoon Name Liew. Three Thoughts was a $34,000 yearling consigned by Durham Lodge at the 2009 Magic Millions West Australian Premier Sale.
