California Yearlings Day-1: US$100k Unusual Heat Colt
Thursday, 13th October 2011
In the US auction ring, trainer Eric Kruljac (acting for Class Racing Stable) paid equal top price of US$100,000 for a colt by Unusual Heat (out of winning 12-year-old Ole’ mare Chi Chi Nette) during the opening session at the 2-day Barretts Equine October Yearling Sale in the Hinds Pavilion at Fairplex Park in Pomona in California. The colt (already named Real Heat) was consigned by Harris Farm as agent.
