US Classic-Winning Sire Red Bullet Pensioned at 14
US Gr1-winning stallion Red Bullet (Unbridled-Cargo, by Caro) who won the 2000 Gr1 Preakness Stakes has been pensioned aged 14 at Frank Stronach’s Adena Springs in Kentucky “due to declining fertility” reported bloodhorse.com. On the track, Red Bullet recorded 6 wins (including the Gr1 Preakness Stakes & Gr3 Gotham Stakes) & 4 placings (including the Gr1 Cigar Mile Handicap & Gr2 Wood Memorial Stakes) from 14 starts for US$1,161,920 earnings. Red Bullet began stud duty in 2003 at Adena Springs South in Florida & has sired 11 stakes-winners (including Canadian Horse-Of-The-Year & Champion Sprinter Fatal Bullet, plus multiple stakes-winners Royal Currier, Red Lead & Cool Bullet) & his progeny have earned more than US$9.1 million.
