Former shuttler Elusive Quality (Gone West-Touch Of Greatness, by Hero's Honor) added a group success when Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum's favoured home-bred 3YO colt & last season’s Australian Champion 2YO Sepoy (Elusive Quality-Watchful, by Danehill) scored a 1.25-lengths victory over his older rivals in the $200,000 Gr2 Caulfield Sprint (1100m) at Caulfield. Sepoy (ridden by Kerrin McEvoy for trainer Peter Snowden) defeated 4YO mare Curtana (Exceed And Excel-Razor Blade, by Blazing Sword) & 6YO mare Mid Summer Music (Oamaru Force-Samsara Lady, by Nassipour).
