Friday, 3rd February 2012
Overall at the Tattersalls February Sale, 179 lots sold for 1,641,100 guineas (A$2.544m) at an average of 9,168 guineas (A$14,200) & a median of 3,500 guineas (A$5,400). Tattersalls chairman Edmond Mahony commented: "While the clearance rate has not matched the record levels of last year's February Sale, it is the 2nd highest since 2007 & the key indicators of average, median & turnover have all held up well."
