US Sire Scrimshaw Moves To Double S Farm

US Gr2-winning & Gr1-placed 12-year-old stallion Scrimshaw (Gulch-Rogue Girl, by Sham) has relocated from Moon Lake Farm in Louisiana to stand at Double S Thoroughbred Farm in Texas for the 2012 breeding season at a US$1,500 service fee, reported bloodhorse.com. Scrimshaw is the sire of Gr3-winner Mr Rod & 4-time stakes-winner Nomorewineforeddie. On the track, Scrimshaw won 4 of 13 starts (including the 2003 Gr2 Coolmore Lexington Stakes at Keeneland, plus 3rd in the Gr1 Preakness Stakes) & earned US$461,842.
