At Ascot in the UK, multiple Gr1-winning shuttler & former star Australian sprinter Choisir (Danehill Dancer-Great Selection, by Lunchtime) added a Gr1 success when 3YO colt Olympic Glory (Choisir-Acidanthera, by Alzao) scored by 3.25-lengths for trainer Richard Hannon in the £1million Queen Elizabeth II Stakes (8 furlongs) for 3YO+, over 3YO gelding Top Notch Tonto (Thousand Words-Elite Hope, by Moment of Hope) & fellow 3YO colt Kingsbarns (Galileo-Beltisaal, by Belmez). Olympic Glory took his record to 6 wins (including the Gr1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere & Gr2 Vintage Stakes) & 3 placings (including the Gr1 Prix Jacques Le Marois & Gr1 Prix du Moulin) from 10 starts for £1,090,354 earnings.
