All At Sea Galloper On Comeback Trail
Talented, but luckless one-time import Sea Moon – now in the UK – is is set to make his race return following a life-threatening trip to reignite his career in the Northern Hemisphere. According to horseracing.com.au, Sea Moon, owned by Lloyd Williams, is on the comeback trail under the care of trainer John Oxx after suffering from severe travel sickness. It's not the first time that Sea Moon has battled the debilitating condition; the import suffered similar symptoms when his then trainer Sir Michael Stoute took the son of Beat Hollow to Hong Kong in 2012. Expected to make his first start next month for Oxx, who's nursed him back to health, Sea Moon showed exceptional promise during the 2013 Melbourne Spring Carnival, however an elevated temperature that lead to his withdrawal a day before 2014's Gr1 Melbourne Cup thwarted any chance of the racing public seeing him live up to his full potential.
