Crownbet Signs Digital Broadcast Agreement

Tuesday, 16th June 2015

Crownbet is the second wagering service provider to enter into a non-exclusive digital rights agreement with Racing Victoria, reports racing.com. The online wagering operator began offering Crownbet members access to digital broadcasts of Victorian racing yesterday. The digital licence agreement allows live streaming of Victorian thoroughbred races, commencing with yesterday's meeting at Echuca, on crownbet.com.au. Vision will be rolled out on other platforms, including Apple and Android apps, in the coming weeks. Racing Victoria CEO Bernard Saundry said: "We are pleased to partner with Crownbet in an agreement which supports our objective of achieving a broader distribution of Victorian thoroughbred racing to support growth and engagement." Crownbet joins Sportsbet who began offering its members access to live streaming of all Victorian thoroughbred race meetings in late March.
