Dual Classic winner Mongolian Khan (Holy Roman Emperor-Centafit, by Centaine) has returned to the Cambridge stable of trainers Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman as he prepares for an ambitious spring campaign aimed at the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups, reports AAP. The 3YO Holy Roman Emperor colt has been back in work for about two weeks following an outstanding autumn prep in which he claimed both the New Zealand and Australian Derby's. Baker said Mongolian Khan is likely to make his seasonal reappearance in the Gr1 Makybe Diva Stakes (1600m) at Flemington on 12 September. Mongolian Khan has won 7 of his 9 starts for $1,908,333 earnings.
