Bull Point Transferred To McEvoy Yard

Wednesday, 1st July 2015

Meanwhile, talented sprinter-miler Bull Point (Fastnet Rock-Rose of Cimmaron, by Bite the Bullet) has been transferred to the stable of Tony McEvoy in a bid to revive the rising 5YOs career, reports Racing.com. Formerly with Gai Waterhouse and Chris Waller, the enigmatic Bull Point has won just 3 of his 19 starts and has been out of the winner's circle since landing the Gr3 Manfred Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield in February last year. "He's a very good galloper who was trained by Gai and then Chris Waller," McEvoy told RSN's Shane Anderson. "He won the Manfred Stakes in Melbourne and was an enormous run in the Golden Rose - probably a good thing beaten in the Golden Rose - so for him to come into my stable, he'll give me a good sprinting arm for the Spring." Bull Point has been in work at McEvoy's Hawkesbury stable since April.
