Big Blue Kitten Wins Gr1 United Nations Stakes

At Monmouth Park in the US, 7YO ridgling Big Blue Kitten (Kitten's Joy-Spent Gold, by Unaccounted For) added another top-flight success to his impressive record when scoring by 1.5-lengths for trainer Chad Brown in the US$500,000 Gr1 United Nations Stakes (11 furlongs) for 3YO+, over 7YO UK-bred entire Slumber (Cacique-Sound Asleep, by Woodman) & 6YO gelding Twilight Eclipse (Purim-My Twilight Dancer, by Twilight Agenda). This was the second United Nations Stakes victory for the Ken and Sarah Ramsey-owned Big Blue Kitten after his win in the 2013 edition of the race. Big Blue Kitten took his record to 13 wins (including the Gr1 Sword Dancer Invitational Stakes & Gr1 United Nations Stakes) and 11 placings from 27 starts for US$2,090,830 earnings.
