Australian-Bred Filly Salutes In South Africa

Monday, 27th July 2015

Blue blooded Australian-bred filly Casadesus (High Chaparral-Push a Venture, by Shirley Heights) looked a potential stakes galloper in the making when resuming with an impressive 1400m victory at Kenilworth in South Africa on Saturday. The Joe Ramsden-trained daughter of High Chaparral has now won 3 of her 4 starts for over R100,000 prize money. Purchased by Kerry Jack Bloodstock for $75,000 at the 2013 Inglis Premier yearling Sale from the draft of Coolmore Stud, Casadesus is a half-brother to Gr3 Hobart Cup winner Offenbach (Danehill) from the Shirley Heights mare Push A Venture, a half sister to the dam of 8-time Gr1 winner and successful sire Rock Of Gibraltar.
