Kiwi Youngster Making Good Progress

Tuesday, 7th June 2016

Gold Rush, the first stakes winner sired by champion racehorse and Australian Horse of the Year So You Think, is pleasing her connections in the build-up to her classic season, reports NZ Racing Desk. "She's coming up well after three weeks work," co-trainer Andrew Scott said. "She hasn't grown a lot, but she is longer and stronger and her first target is likely to be the Gold Trail Stakes at Hastings." From the Gr2 Karrakatta Plate winner Gold Rocks (Oratorio), Gold Rush is a winner of 1 of her 4 starts highlighted by her victory in the Gr2 Matamata Breeders' Stakes (1200m) in February.
