Holler To Gallop At Newmarket On Thursday

Thursday, 9th June 2016

Holler, who will be Australia's only representative at Royal Ascot next week, will have his first serious workout since arriving in England when trainer John O'Shea visits him at Newmarket on Thursday, reports AAP. Godolphin have reported that the 3YO has settled in well and put on weight since touching down in the UK early last week. The son of Commands is scheduled to run in the Gr1 Golden Jubilee Stakes (1200m) at Royal Ascot on Saturday week (18 June), after which he will return home to Australia to prepare for the feature Gr1 sprints in the spring. Holler (Commands-Shouts, by Strategic) has built up an impressive record winning 4 of his 11 starts, highlighted by his Gr1 victory in the Canterbury Stakes (1300m) at Randwick on 5 March. At his most recent outing, he was runner-up to Flamberge in the Gr1 William Reid Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley on 24 March.
