Dundeel Relation Impresses on Debut

Monday, 29th January 2018

Beautifully related filly Valalie looked a smart prospect when making a winning debut at Pukekohe in New Zealand on Friday. Prepared out of the Cambridge yard of Murray Baker & Andrew Forsman, the 2YO daughter of incumbent champion Australian sire Snitzel lived up to her pedigree when bounding clear to score a comfortable win in the Haunui Farm 2YO over 1200 metres. Valalie is out of the Volksraad mare Vaayala (ex Stareel), a half-sister to six-time Gr1 winner & former New Zealand Horse of the Year Dundeel (High Chaparral-Stareel, by Zabeel). Dundeel stands at Arrowfield Stud for a fee $27,500 (inc. GST).
