Black Caviar Daughter Wins Again
Oscietra, the first offspring of world champion sprinter Black Caviar, opened her autumn campaign with a strong win at Ballarat yesterday. The 3YO Exceed And Excel filly improved her record to 2 wins from 4 starts when leading throughout to score a comfortable 1.5 length win in a benchmark 64 handicap over 1000m. "It's nice to get her back on track winning and she should just continue to get better and better," co-trainer David Hayes told racing.com. "She will go to town next and hopefully get a win in a fillies race soon." Black Caviar (Bel Esprit-Helsinge, by Desert Sun) is recognised as one of Australia's greatest ever racehorses whose perfect record of 25 wins without defeat, including a remarkable 15 at Gr1 level, is unprecedented in Australian racing history.
