At Matamata in New Zealand, Coolmore's deceased dual Derby-winning shuttler & 6-time Gr1 victor High Chaparral (Sadler's Wells-Kasora, by Dashaan) when  7YO New Zealand-bred gelding Show The World (High Chaparral-Bazelle, by Zabeel) returned to the winner's circle after a hiatus of more than two years when landing the $50,000 Listed Kaimai Stakes (2000m) for 3YO+, defeating Our King Sway & Rangipo. Andrew Forsman, who trains in partnership with Murray Baker, said Show The World would be given the chance to emulate his dam Bazelle when he contests the Gr1 Auckland Cup (3200m) on 10 March. "He'll get a few points now to get into the Auckland Cup," said Andrew Forsman, who trains the stayer with Murray Baker. "He's going well and last preparation he had a niggling issue behind, we couldn't find out what it was so we gave him a long break and he's come back a happy horse." Passed in shy of his $400,000 reserve at the 2012 NZ Premier Yearling Sale, Show The World is bred on an identical cross to Baker's former 5-time Gr1-winner Dundeel. By Sadler's Wells' English & Irish Derby winning son High Chaparral, Show The World is out of the Gr1 Auckland Cup and Gr1 Zabeel Classic-winning mare Bazelle. Bazelle's grand dam is the unraced UK-bred mare Toyland, dam of outstanding 1970s filly Toy Show. Toy Show won 4 Gr1s during her illustrious career, namely the Golden Slipper (where she defeated Denise's Joy), AJC Sires' Produce Stakes, VATC 1,000 Guineas & Newmarket Handicap.
