Inanup Form Line Suggests A Big Watch
If form lines are to be believed then the fifth race at Hawkesbury tomorrow includes a 4YO gelding that has an undeniable chance. The Jarrod Austin-trained son of Bon Hoffa, Inanup, has had only 2 starts. After debuting with a creditable 5th to talented mare Bollinger Rose late July, Inanup then won a trial at Warwick Farm on Feb 1. Who cares? It's just a trial? Maybe, but second in the trial was subsequent Gr3 Eskimo Prince and Gr2 Hobartville Stakes-winning Godolphin 3YO colt Kementari, current favourite for tomorrow’s Gr1 Randwick Guineas. And third in the trial was Readycatgo, a winner at prohibitive odds on Wednesday at Kembla Grange. For added measure, 5th in the trial was I Am Invincible 3YO Invincible Gangsta who won first up, ran second on Feb 20 at Wyong, and won again at Scone yesterday. Inanup also won at his second start (following the trial) defeating promising 4YO mare Oyster Bay, who coincidentally is contesting the previous race on the same card.
