Bearcat Full Book At WA Taunton Vale
Western Australia's Dardanup-based Taunton Vale stud announced stallion Bearcat (Danehill-Fitting, by Marscay) has attracted a "full book" this season, reported breednet.com.au. Bearcat (a $700,000 yearling at the 2001 Easter Sale in Sydney) is a full-brother to both ill-fated Gr1 Golden Slipper-winning sire Catbird & promising young sire Danbird. He covered 80 mares last season (with 90% fertility) & is standing again this year at $4,400. Bearcat raced exclusively in Hong Kong & notched a 1400m track record at Happy Valley.
