In a significant tick of approval for the high quality of its products, third generation South Australian company Simtrack has earned major kudos in Hong Kong. The venerated Hong Kong Jockey Club recently experienced record turnover at Sha Tin Racecourse, and boasts three of the world’s current top ten ranked racehorses. Following initial trials and testing by the Hong Kong Jockey Club, both Sha Tin and Happy Valley tracks now race exclusively against the Simtrack Movable Plastic Running Rail system. The achievement has been a result of working closely with the prestigious race club to provide a highly effective and, most importantly, ‘game changing’ level of safety for both horse and rider. After wide positive feedback, the HKJC has since started replacing much of their training track rails with Simtrack plastic – a major endorsement for the tried and tested efficacy of Simtrack’s world-class products. These also include highly sophisticated starting gates that use cutting edge hydraulics, are ultra quiet and open at an aditional 25 degrees to provide a funnel system to guide horses into their barriers. It’s a quantumn leap since 1959 when current Simtrack CEO Kieren Sims’ gradfather Lindsay Sims realised there had to be a better way to start Australian races than with the wave of a flag. Also renowned manufacturers of innovative stewards’ towers, Simtrack exports to over 65 countries. CLICK HERE to see why…
