Sydney's $20 million Gr1 TAB Everest continues to make history, with Saturday's eighth running at Royal Randwick officially sold out. The Australian Turf Club and Racing NSW closed General Admission ticket sales four days before the event, prioritizing safety and comfort. Saturday's crowd is expected to surpass last year's 46,498, possibly reaching 50,000. All hospitality spaces across Royal Randwick are fully booked. Australian Turf Club CEO, Matt Galanos, said: "The TAB Everest has become the hottest ticket in town, attracting record numbers of new fans. We're thrilled to see more than 30% of tickets sold to those under 25 and 53% to women, reflecting widespread interest in TAB Everest Day." Saturday will set a modern-day attendance record at Royal Randwick, surpassing even the legendary final run of Winx. Patrons are encouraged to arrive early and use public transport, included with General Admission tickets and ATC Membership. The ATC is collaborating with Racing NSW to create new spaces at Royal Randwick, accommodating more spectators at the world's richest turf race. The strongest field in the $20m TAB Everest's history will compete on Saturday, featuring 12 elite sprinters who have collectively won 71 races and nearly $70m in prize money. Saturday also includes the $5m King Charles III Stakes and the $2m The Kosciuszko, making it Australia's richest day of racing. Amazingly, The Everest field is a punter's delight, offering $6.00-plus the field (see below) on Wednesday night.
