Global thoroughbred force Coolmore Stud sold the 2024 Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Storm Boy at this sale in 2023, then bought back into the colt who went to win at Group 2 level and is currently in Ireland being set for major European sprinting targets. They also sold $1.4 million colt Dawn Service who gave his new owners a quick return in winning the Listed Exford Plate. Brilliant filly Arabian Summer, inaugural winner of the Magic Millions National Stakes, was also in the same Coolmore draft as Storm Boy. In 2025, Coolmore will offer 46 yearlings at the Gold Coast, with the majority by their own stallions, although they also have a Snitzel filly, Lot 441, out of Gr1 winner Global Glamour, and two by I Am Invincible, led by Lot 182 a filly who is the second foal of multiple Gr1 winner Avatange (Fastnet Rock). First season sire Home Affairs dominates the draft with 12 yearlings. Winner of the sire-making Gr1 Coolmore Stud Stakes and the Gr1 Lightning Stakes, Home Affair's outstanding book of mares will give him every chance to succeed. Among Coolmore's 12 are Dawn Service's half-sister, Lot 1007, who is the third foal of Champion 3YO Filly Sunlight, Lot 225 a colt from Gr1 winner Booker, Lot 893 a colt from Gr1 winner Sea Siren, making him a half-brother to Gr1 winner Warm Heart and two other stakes horses. Lot 68 is a filly from Gr1 Flight Stakes winner Montoya's Secret, Lot 256 a filly from Gr2 winner and four-time Gr1-placed Champagne Cuddles, Lot 706 is a filly out of Gr2 winner My Poppette. Others include Lot 537, a filly out of Gr3 winner Jazz Song, making this yearling a half-sister to Gr2 placed winner Sword Point, while Lot 1018 is a half-brother to Listed winner Supreme Idea out of a half-sister to Gr1 winner Sweet Idea. Much admired young stallion Wootton Bassett sired four juvenile Gr1 winners in Europe in 2024, and Coolmore will offer six yearlings by him at the Gold Coast. Lot 574 is a colt out of Gr1 NZ 1000 Guineas winner La Bella Diosa, who is a half-sister to stakes winners Solid Billing and Thy, and Lot 593 is a colt from Gr2 winner Legless Veuve from the family of Probabeel, Savvy Coup, and Never Been Kissed. Other stallions represented in Coolmore's draft are Acrobat, Cosmic Force, Fastnet Rock, Frankel, King's Legacy, Pierro, Saxon Warrior, So You Think, St Mark's Basilica, Stay Inside, and Wild Ruler.
