South Australian nursery Mill Park Stud has an impressive track record of Inglis Premier yearling sale graduates, including Gr1 winners Attrition, Benedetta, Booker, and Fawkner, alongside stakes performers like Angel Capital, Dalasan, Foxy Frida, Dawn Passage, Crown Towers, and Senor Toba. This year, their draft of five yearlings promises more high-caliber talent. Leading the lineup is Lot 18, a colt by Darley’s Blue Point, the sire of three Gr1 winners and the Bjorn Baker-trained Point And Shoot, who is targeting the Gr1 Randwick Guineas. Lot 18 is the second foal of the Gr2-winning Toronado mare Affair To Remember, a three-quarter-sister to multiple Gr1-placed Senor Toba and a half-sister to the stakes-producing dam of G2 winners Berkeley Square and Angel Capital. This colt is also closely related to Saturday’s G1 Australian Guineas contender Angel Capital, another Mill Park graduate from last year’s Premier sale. Lot 101 follows, a Russian Revolution filly out of the Starcraft mare Champagne Jane, a half-sister to South African Gr1 winner Run Fox Run and Listed winner Guard Of Honour. Also selling on the opening day of the three-day sale is Lot 209, a colt by Coolmore’s St Mark’s Basilica. He is the third foal from Icebomb, a three-time winner who was Gr3 placed during her career. Rounding out the draft are two yearlings by Kia Ora Stud’s Golden Slipper winner Farnan, whose first crop already boasts four winners, led by Gr3 victor North England. Lot 320, a bay colt, is out of Miraclesofmiracles (More Than Ready), a half-sister to Listed winner Celtic Tiger and Avisto, the latter being the dam of Gr3 winner Annavisto. More Than Ready’s influence as a broodmare sire is well established, with over 380 stakes performers, including 25 Gr1 winners like Coolangatta, Bivouac, and Rebel Dane. Completing the offering is Lot 448, the third foal of the winning Lonhro mare Secretly Discreet. She hails from a distinguished pedigree, being a half-sister to Gr2 winner Too Darn Discreet and part of the family of Gr1 winner Maybe Discreet.
